The newly appointed 56th Assembly District Leader, Kenesha Traynham- Cooper, the Mayor's Action Plan Program Manager for Ingersoll NYCHA Development along with several civic engaged residents, are working closely together to combat violence. While working with Center for Court Innovation and The Office of Neighborhood Safety, they collaborated with NYCHA and DOT to install a memorable mural on now what is called the peace bridge to unify both the youth in the community and residents living on both sides of the bridge in Ingersoll, Fort Green. In fight for neighborhood safety among the youth, Ms. Traynham- Cooper and the residents designed and implemented an 8 week entrepreneurial mentorship program.
